As owner and innkeeper of one of the city’s most storied Victorian gems, The Circular Manor Inn, she and her husband Dieter havespent years restoring and sharing a living piece of history with guests from around the world. Built in 1907, the Inn’s five luxurious guest rooms each feature stunning architectural details and thoughtful modern amenities, offering unmatched beauty and hospitality.

Michele’s passion for preservation extends well beyond the walls of the Inn. As a board member of the Saratoga Springs Preservation Foundation, she appreciates the importance of safeguarding architectural heritage while guiding thoughtful growth. She’s known for her ability to balance tradition with forward thinking, working closely with homeowners, city leaders, and local businesses to preserve the unique historic character of Saratoga Springs.

Earlier in her career, Michele held a highly regarded position in the pharmaceutical industry, representing Astra Zeneca Pharmaceuticals in hospital systems across the region. Specializing in critical care medicine, she managed complex sales of life-saving therapies and built trusted relationships with healthcare professionals, all with a strong focus on patient care and ethical excellence. The experience sharpened her strategic mindset and ability to build lasting relationships, skills that continue to inform her work today.

Michele is now embarking on an exciting new partnership with real estate visionary Cinthia Ané McGreevy, founder of Ané & Co. Florida Real Estate and Horse & Home Estates. Their collaboration -- Horse & Home Estates Saratoga – is a real estate boutique with a true Saratoga sensibility, specializing in legacy properties and superior customer care. In her role as Agent Partner, she utilizes her business acumen, local expertise and refined aesthetic to bring people and properties together, helping clients navigate significant real estate decisions. Michele's dedication to Saratoga Springs perhaps shines brightest through her civic engagement. She currently serves on the New York Racing Advisory Board, where she acts as a key community liaison. By strengthening communication between the City of Saratoga Springsand the New York Racing Association, she helps ensure that the Saratoga Racecourse continues to thrive in harmony with the surrounding community.

Michele is also a proud board member and mentorship coordinator for Sponsor a Scholar, which helps low-income, high achieving students from Saratoga Springs High School achieve their college dreams by providing financial assistance, academic support and mentorship. Other previous community work includes serving on the board that led the reinvention and restoration of the Universal Preservation Hall, now a cornerstone venue for arts and culture. She was also a dedicated member of the Flower and Fruit Mission, which raised essential funds for the maternity ward at Saratoga Hospital, ensuring that local families have access to quality care in a compassionate environment. Michele’s ability to unite people around meaningful causes has left a lasting imprint on both the healthcare and nonprofit landscape of the city.
